Are you an experienced Technical Services Manager who wants a new challenge with one of Manchester’s biggest IT Service providers?
Do you enjoy developing processes, people and technology and driving continuous service improvement?

This rapidly growing IT service provider is now looking for a Technical Services Manager to be responsible for the delivery of a variety of services across their wide customer base, where you will be leading and managing infrastructure, network and cloud functions and acting as the senior point of escalation for major technical issues. 
It’s a truly exciting oppotunity where you will be given full autonomy to make key decisions that will drive the business further forward with their technical and service offerings. 

Your Role:

  • As Technical Services Manager you will be directly managing a team leaders across a variety of functions including Infrastructure, Network, Support and Monotioring.
  • Using your leadership experience, you will support the development of the team and ensure it’s continued growth and improvment to mirror the expansion plans of the business.
  • Your proven technical experience will enable you to support complex technical requirments, and take the lead on delivering continuous improvement plans that will enhance performance and customer service.
  • Working with key internal and 3rd party stakeholders you will ensure service levels are adhered to through setting and managing expectations, and ensuring service transitions are completed effectively.

Your Profile:

  • A proven background of working within a highly technical environemnt, incuding managing and supporting a variety of teams.
  • Strong knowledge and experience of Core Networking, Cloud and On-premise solutions, and virtualisation.
  • Demonstrable knowledge of technologies including AWS, Azure, Office 365, SD-WAN.
  • Previous experience of tools including LogicMonitor, Veeam, Citrix, VMware.
  • Ideally ITIL certified with client facing experience.
